Our objective of this first-ever East Metro Region Housing Summit is to bring together people who are interested in finding solutions to housing issues in our area. The east metro area is experiencing dramatic housing affordability and production problems and lacks targeted housing for specific groups across incomes. We want to get people from the public and private sector groups talking to each other in the same room to find these answers, identifying major pain points and areas for collaboration to point our way forward. I am specifically contacting your group as people with active interest in these problems that affect us all. Your collaboration towards these efforts will go a long way towards a bright future where everyone in our area is housed.
